Glen Agnew parkdale research@bigpond.com :12 Oct 2002Ramp is now unusable except for light tinnies. Sanding up of the Bay has filled the hole at the base of the concrete ramp. Only 75mm water out to about 50 metres. Confusion over maintenance. Bayside Council contacted, as they take the money in the car park, but advised that Parks Vic. were the authority. Contacted Parks Vic. who stated that the maintenance was the responsibility of the Bayside Council and that this argument had happened previously. Advice: unless you have a small tinny, forget it!25 Oct 2002
The resolution of ownership (maintenance) for the Half Moon Bay ramp is still no closer. Further words with Parks Vic. personell indicated that this ramp had never received attention from them, and probably never would re water depth
