Concrete wide ramp in large boat harbour (St Kilda Marina), holding jetty and floating pontoons.

Suitable starting point for trip on Yarra River towards City.

Location: North part of Port Phillip Bay, Victoria, Australia

Access: Marine Parade (No.33)

Charges apply for the car park. The meter is next to the ramp. Take coins. Charge approx $10. Note. There is virtually no free parking in the area, so effectively the parking fee is the launch fee.

There is a coastguard station on the port side as you exit the marina into the bay.

Very popular and busy at weekends. Expecially with PWC's. There can be a queue to launch and retrieve. Limited holding jetties. Room for 1 or 2 boats on one side and 2 or 3 boats on the other.
